Omschrijving

This property is an attractive stone-fronted 3 double bedroom and 2 bathroom house featuring spacious open plan living and set in a large plot of land with South/South-Westerly facing terraces and a pool. The property is a 10 minute walk, half being private track, from the local village this house offers privacy and a peaceful location perfect for those looking to enjoy the peace and tranquillity yet only a short drive from the larger villages and towns where all the necessary conveniences can be found.

The approach to the house is by way of a short concrete track from the village then a private track directly to the terrace below the house with ample space for multiple vehicles and various paths to access the house. It is of new construction with many stone facades and there are characterful details throughout, from the exposed beam and cane ceilings, wooden lintels over doors and windows, stone pillars, cast iron radiators and feature floor tiles. The windows and doors are custom made in wood with double glazing, internal shutters and iron security railings built into the thick insulated walls.

Externally the house has a variety of different level terraces, many paved with slate, others with railway sleeper steps and chippings offering areas suitable for dining out and relaxing in the sun or shade. Outside of the lounge is a lovely patio area, with wooden beams and a shade planted with climbing vines, perfect for use as an al-fresco dining space.

There is a pool opposite the master bedroom French doors, fenced off from the terrace and giving fabulous views of the surrounding countryside and the site of the ruins of the Moorish fortress on the opposite side of the valley. On one terrace there is a large Bolsa, fully fenced and with acequia water rights for irrigation. There are various areas of the land that could be used for cultivation if a degree of self-sufficiency was desired. The land was organically farmed in the past and the owners have avoided the use of chemical treatments.

On entering the house you come first into the open plan lounge area. There is a large storage cupboard and a beautiful tiled floor in the first part with 2 sets of French doors onto one of the patio terraces. From here a small step takes you to the other lounge area with a wood burning stove, terracotta tiled floor with feature coloured glazed details, ceiling fan and a mid-height wall to the dining area. A few steps leads to the kitchen/dining space. The dining space features a wall of fitted shelving and cupboard housing the gas fired hot water heater. A door to the west terrace leads to a shady tree lined area, the entire internal space is bright and airy as there are windows to all walls and 2 sky lights. The kitchen comprises a U shaped layout of quality base and wall units, granite countertops and a double ceramic Belfast sink. There is a large fridge/freezer, a glass topped gas hob with extractor fan over, built in oven, microwave and dishwasher and a handy fitted countertop compost bin.

From the living space a corridor leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. First is a shower room with a large shower cubicle with wall mounted and over-head rose, toilet with bidet shower and a small storage cupboard with fitted washbasin. Next to this are the first 2 double bedrooms, both with cast iron radiator, ceiling fan, laminate flooring and a shuttered window. The master bedroom is a lovely size double with a window to the side aspect and French doors onto the front terrace, ceiling fan and exposed beam and cane ceiling and a cast iron radiator. The first 2 bedrooms and both bathrooms have flat plastered ceilings. The main bathroom features a full size bath with shower, toilet with bidet shower, bidet, a large vanity unit with basin and plumbing for the washing machine. The floor is terracotta with white glazed detail tiles and the walls are tiled to half height and higher in the shower area. Two windows allow for plenty of natural light and ventilation in addition to the extractor fan and there is an electric towel radiator.

The owners had landline telephone cables buried underground from the village and internet is available, the house is connected to mains water and electricity and there is a septic tank.
